Who we are

30 years of excellence in digital ceramic photography

Born in 1986 from the long experience of Piedmontese managers in the ceramic sector and in the production of toner gained within the Olivetti Group, BALTEA D.C. is today a world leader in the production of ceramic toners and digital printing systems for photoceramics.

Over the course of over thirty years of business, the company has developed an exclusive technology that allows for the indelible transfer of digital images onto ceramic, glass, and enameled sheet metal—resistant to extremely high temperatures up to 1250°C, suitable for both interior and exterior use, and food-grade.

BALTEA D.C. provides everything you need for the ceramic photography process: from Canon ceramic printers and toners, to CALCOPRINT special paper, fluxes, and accessories. We guarantee on-site installation, custom colour profile configuration, and ongoing professional consultancy for every client.

Always at the forefront, BALTEA DC has introduced the new paper process Calcoprint: a patented system that eliminates lacquering, optimizes production flow and guarantees impeccable results on ceramic, glass and sheet metal with faster times and a more sustainable process.

Projects

The projects of
BALTEA DC

Over the years, thanks to the staff's extensive experience, BALTEA D.C. has successfully developed and completed several important projects, such as:

Ceramic lacquer SPRAY

We were the first to put ceramic lacquer in spray cans, thus making the lacquering process easier.

Large format

We have developed the first large-format digital printing system with a width of 91.4 cm.

CALCOPRINT Letter

The printing paper that does not require a varnishing step. After printing on Calcoprint paper, the image is transferred to the ceramic, thus saving the customer valuable time.

Patented DARK and WHITE

No stamp effect. With the new systems, the fondant is put directly onto the image and the white underneath.
